A golf tee mandala made in December 2015.
This one’s on reclaimed wood and wrapped with salvaged tin nailed on with copper tacks. A barn-found rusty door escutcheon and a shiny Abe Lincoln Penny sit in the middle surrounded by a bronze wound guitar string and red white and blue golf tees.
- Roofing tin from when a tree came through the tin roof of my shop and I had to replace some panels.
- Escutcheon out of the barn at Confluence.
- Golf tees from Lake Winds and Occoneechee golf courses in Bahama and Hillsborough, NC.
- Guitar String compliments of Art Champagne, my friend from Durham who plays in The Midnight Ramblers and a couple of other bands.
