The piece is made on a salvaged wooden spool end with the tongued edges from reclaimed 1920s heart pine flooring creating a textured field with the beautiful butterscotch/ caramel heart pine coloring.
At the center is a yellow piece of a vintage dresser drawer face adorned with an antique plow attachment and a vintage French Joan of Arc coin.
The edge is banded with a metal strap that came off a bundle of railroad ties.
The piece is approximately 24″ in diameter and 1 1/2″ thick.
A batch of my beloved railroad spike birds made from found spikes and vintage reclaimed wood. Related
